Vin Diesel receives Doctorate degree 30years after dropping out from College

Action movie star, Vin Diesel has been honored with a PhD by Hunter College, 30 years after dropping out without a degree.



The “Fast and the Furious” actor had attended the school for three years in the 1980s, but ultimately dropped out to focus on his acting career.



Speaking to the students while receiving his degree, the actor said:

'while I was in Hollywood I always had this pride of Hunter College. I would tell everybody that I learned and took so much away from my experience at Hunter College: I was young, I was a bouncer, when I wasn’t bouncing I was in these classrooms with the most diverse student body on the planet. We’re strivers. We can overcome anything. You learn that here and you take into the world. And then you can look at Hollywood and change the face of Hollywood. You can literally change the face of Hollywood because of that dignity and pride and willingness to fight'.

Jeweler goes legal on Davido over 60million debt

Luxury jeweler Micheal Kaycee who is reportedly being owed the sum of N60 million by Nigerian singer Davido, has taken legal actions against the singer.

In a letter he posted on his Instagram timeline, purportedly written to Davido by his lawyer, he is demanding a refund of the money being owed.

Kaycee also used the medium to hint the world on a bounty he claimed is already placed on him. According to him, he can’t sleep in his home because of a N5 million bounty on his location.


He also alleged that despite the fact that Davido owes him money, he has refunded the real owner of the jewelry that was given to Davido to sell. He had to sell his house and cars to make the refund.

He wrote:

This is a copy of letter of demand sent by my team of lawyers working round the clock to ensure i get my money back from Mr. David Adeldeji Adeleke. I needed to go legal to prove to everyone that my claim of 120,000 £ ( 60million) against Davido is for real and at the appropriate time we would go to court of law for judgement.

Please, be patient with me even though my life is now in Davidoo’s✋. Thank you all I know justice will be seen been done in this case.

Kim Kardashian meets with President Trump today to discuss prison reforms and pardon for Alice Johnson

Alice Johnson was sentenced to life in prison without parole in 1996 for a first-time, non-violent drug offence. She was convicted of being a "telephone mule", relaying messages between drug distributors and sellers.

Johnson's story first caught the reality television star's eye after she saw a short video about the case posted on social media.

Mrs Kardashian West was moved to ask her longtime personal lawyer, Shawn Holley, to take a look at the case and is paying for a new legal team for Johnson.

The reality television star was also able to join forces with Mr Jared Kushner, a senior adviser to the president who also is his son-in-law,who has also been pushing for federal prison reform.

President Trump finally invited her to the White House today to discuss prison reforms and pardon of the first-time drug offender who is a great-grandmother serving a life sentence in prison.

The pardon process is now entirely up to the president's discretion, and it is unknown at this point whether he plans to announce a decision to coincide with Mrs Kardashian West's visit.

Kirk Franklin reacts to the story of preacher who said he was instructed by God to buy a fourth private jet

Gospel singer Kirk Franklin took to Instagram to criticise televangelist, Jesse Duplantis, who has asked his disciples to pray so that he can buy a $54million private jet as instructed by God.

The US televangelist has asked his followers to help fund his fourth private jet - because Jesus "wouldn't be riding a donkey".

Jesse Duplantis said God had told him to buy a Falcoln 7X for $54m (£41m).

He added he was hesitant about the purchase at first, but said God had told him: "I didn't ask you to pay for it. I asked you to believe for it."

Although preachers owning private jets is not unusual, this particular appeal has caused controversy and alot of reactions and response.

Tonto Dike's ex-husband responds to relationship allegations by Zalnab Rufai

Olakunle Churchill, ex-husband to actress Tonto Dike has responded to the allegation leveled against him by a lady identified as Zainab Rufai who claimed she was his ex-girlfriend and he dumped her after rendering assistance to him.

Zainab in her allegation also claimed that Churchill cannot be trusted, saying he breaks properties and beats his ex wife.

However in his reaction to the story, Churchill stated that the allegation was just to seek attention and that he never had a close relationship with Zainab.

He made this known in an chat with Vanguard by phone and claimed that he is not surprised that the lady did a good job in composing such story which obviously sounded believable especially with pictures to back it up.


"This is very funny to me and I must give her kudos for a well scripted write up to drag me out. I certainly know she has join forces with the #mustbringdownchurchillgang to portray me as evil before the public.
In truth, Zainab was known to me at her young age and we shared some closeness but no engagement or marriage proposal of any sort”
It’s unfortunate that public opinions have been swayed in her direction but I don’t want to give attention to her and all she had said as they were well cooked and garnished by the same source and group that have been blackmailing me.

The Big Church Group Chairman believed that the call out from his friendship with Zainab was prompted by the conspiracy and a contract offer which was postponed.
He however asked Zainab to desist from such allegations as it would never get her anywhere.

Morgan Freeman demands apology from CNN over sexual assault reports

Morgan Freeman is fighting back against allegations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior.

 In a 10-page letter from his attorney, the 80-year-old actor has demanded an immediate retraction and an apology from CNN following its report last week in which multiple women accused Freeman of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior.

The actor has denied ever sexually assaulting any woman. In a statement to ABC News last Friday, he said the report has “devastated” him and that “it is not right to equate horrific incidents of sexual assault with misplaced compliments or humor.”  He also issued an apology to “anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent.”



Freeman took a stronger tone today through his attorney Robert Schwartz, who said in the letter to CNN that its report was a “product of malicious intent, falsehoods, slight-of-hand, an absence of editorial control, and journalistic malpractice.”

A spokeswoman for CNN responded to ABC News with the following statement: “The unfounded accusations made by Mr. Freeman’s lawyer are disappointing and are difficult to reconcile with Mr. Freeman’s own public statements in the aftermath of the story.

CNN stands by its reporting and will respond forcefully to any attempt by Mr. Freeman or his representatives to intimidate us from covering this important public issue.”

Falz under blasts from fans for using girls wearing 'hijab' in his new video

Falz's "This is Nigeria" music video, inspired by Childish Gambino's "This is America" video, has generated controversy with Muslims calling him out for using girls in hijab in the video.

In the music video, which we think is a masterpiece, uses art to expose the ills in society, young girls in hijab are seen dancing Shaku Shaku behind Falz. Some Muslims took offense at this and said it's inappropriate and a way of disrespecting the hijab and Islam.
